Our local town of Walsall has been renowned for its leather works for many years – being called the Leather capital of the world in the 20th century!  After all, that’s why our football team are called the Saddlers!     If you take a walk along Bradford Street you can see the sculpture representing the leather saddlery industry for yourself.
